The existing Century Bank consisted of a three-story building in Medford, Massachusetts. Beacon Architectural Associates was commissioned to create a corporate headquarters complex by adding a new five-story, 50,000 square foot building. The two buildings are linked by a connector to facilitate communication and create a unified complex. Beacon and its consultants also designed the fit-ups for the first floor lobby and branch, the second floor loan department, and the fifth floor executive offices; the third and fourth floors remain empty for future growth. In addition, the design team was responsible for the site landscaping and expanded parking area. Century Bank envisions the new complex as a landmark on Interstate 93 and an entrance to the Town of Medford.
