Beacon Architectural Associates worked with Boston University on a phased renovation of the dining commons for the undergraduates living in Warren Towers. The central servery has cook to order display stations and self-serve islands, and the dining commons has raised platforms to offer a variety of seating types. Dining can be subdivided with large doors to allow for concurrent group meetings and student dining. Phase One, completed in the fall of 2003, included renovations to the main servery. Phase Two, completed in the fall of 2004, included renovations to the main dining area and Melville Lounge. The final phase, which included the remaining cooking line, was completed during the summer of 2005.
