This small, yet complex, mechanical engineering laboratory was designed for the study of microscope machines. The lab was designed as a 10,000 clean room with fumehood, lab grade casework, and laboratory gases. The project's main challenge was coordinating the vertical return air requirements with the tight lab layout. Ninety percent of the interior partitions are used for returning air to the plenum above.
