Beacon Architectural Associates participated in all phases of the programming and renovation of the library for the School of Education. Beacon worked with the SED librarian and the University librarian to establish hierarchies for space needs and for existing and new collections, ranging from childrens, young adult, and reference to research, testing, and periodicals. The library renovation in the School of Education building incorporates the library program, a computer teaching facility, and a storytelling nook in 6,100 square feet. The resulting library is very successful in combining research, casual study, and teaching in a comfortable and well appointed space.
