FALMOUTH PUBLIC LIBRARY
Falmouth, Massachusetts

Beacon Architectural Associates planned a renovation of 31,000 square feet and an 8,000 square foot addition for the Falmouth Public Library. The original library is a historic structure with two subsequent additions and is located prominently on a significant town green which also serves as a veterans memorial. The library expansion will restore a balanced backdrop to the green. Designed to meet the twenty year need, the spacious expanded library will serve as a focus for this growing community. Beacon produced concept phase documents for the 2005 grant round of the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners, developed the design, and is currently producing construction documents.  The firm is also engaged to provide construction administration.

Designed in association with Adams & Smith Architects.
