The new Ultra Diamonds retail store at 283 Washington Street is considered one of Ultra's flagship stores. With more than 130 stores in 30 states, the Chicago based company's mission is "to provide the best quality diamonds at the lowest possible prices." The new store consists of approximately 3,000 square feet of retail space on the first and second floor of the Old Corner Bookstore building in Downtown Crossing. The goal of the project was to keep the historic nature of the building intact while creating a store that is a "hip, exciting, modern place to shop."
